Preparatory designs

The success of each subject is certainly attributable to the creation of sketches made beforehand. This is the most important phase which strives to find the correct position or the most natural posture to give the correct sense of realism to each of the figures.

For each theme several drawings must be developed looking for points of view that give a global vision of the sculpture so that looking it at full circle, it has a sensation of uniformity and continuity of the piece.

The draft: “ Horses study” is a free hand sketch with the mouse, while the others are made with pencils of varying hardness, stump and white chalk.

The Australian Knight is an example of philological uniformity between design and culture which can be viewed in the miniature soldier menu.
