British Officier - 1861 - 54 mm. scale
The 3rd Sikh Irregular Cavalry was founded at the end of 1857 and was disbanded in May 1861. This subject portrays Lt. F. Robertson Aikaman, decorated with the Cross of Victoria for the his courage shown on the River Goomtee.

The uniform is blue, the borders and the embroidery is Silver. The sabretache deserves special attention because it is possible to see the intertwining of the number 3 and the letters S,I,C which represent the initials of the regiment the soldier belonged to, that is, the 3rd Sikh Irregular Cavalry.
